In 2000 I was looking for a file manager for Windows that has the functionality of the Norton Commander, but could deal with long file names. I had tested several Windows Commanders, but none of them did satisfy my expectations.
I had worked with the Midnight Commander (MC) under Linux and its functions were good. Then I found the port of MC to Windows by Franco Bez and I enhanced his version.

Mouse support Internal shell User menus (mc.mnu und NC.MNU)The programm has still some bugs, but it is useful. I use it every day. I want to fix the bugs, when I have some time left. If you want to fix some bugs or add some features, you are welcome.
I have tested the program under Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
