Punta Grande - a sophisticated comedy. Fred and Lilian and their young daughter Luzi are enjoying a lovely holiday trip in Argentina. During their stay at "Punta Grande», the tiniest hotel in the world, each one of them experiences their individual catharsis. Fred becomes involved in a romantic love affair with mysterious singer Ines, Lilian gets trapped in the dark passions aroused by Ricardo, the bartender.
Even Luzi meets her alter ego, and the elderly German immigrants - twinned and incestuous brother and sister - who run the hotel seem to guide them all by strange magic. All are living and suffering their secret dreams and fears and still find their way back home as new-born and healed identities.
